Crabtree Falls on the Blue Ridge Parkway Milepost 339 in Western North Carolina

Crabtree Falls lies near Milepost 339 on the Blue Ridge Parkway on the North Carolina section. This area was once called Crabtree Meadows before they changed the name to Crabtree Falls to gain more exposure. Unfortunately this spring 2013 they decided to close the campground and camp store because of Federal budget cuts.. Please share this video with your family and friends so we can spread the word about this closure..

Heather at Vierhouten

What's (in) the picture?

A few photos of the heather at Vierhouten. To remind of the colours that will be coming back again in Spring and Summer. One of these photos is published earlier. The first one giving me the right answer wins eternal glory!

This weekly theme is ‘scale’. A foggy day in Den Haag that created quite a fantastic view changing the ordinary. A few geese in front of high buildings. Scale is about perspective.
